course, it just tastes better). His was simple but mine was complex.
It was lightly toasted marble rye bread with Swiss cheese melted on to
it (we used a toaster oven so the cheese is melted as the bread
toasts) topped with a light layer of mustard, grilled figs, a few
spinach leaves, and fresh garden tomatoes. The tomatoes weren't really
needed but since they're my fave I tend to put them on everything. The
sandwich itself was a total win, but I assembled it stupid. The figs
and tomatoes barely stayed on. They really should've been on the
bottom, but I guess you can't win them all.
