While I was winding down my day at work, Randall sent me an IM that said, “I'm gonna make asparagus. how much should I make?”

Needless to say, I was floored. Total speechless. You see, randall doesn’t really do vegetables. And the fact that he bought and was going to make asparagus stupefied me. I thought perhaps it was a joke, Amy thought it was surely body snatchers. I think Amy must’ve been right, because when I got home, there was grilled lamb, couscous, and grilled asparagus too. All of it delicious, and all of it perfectly done. If it’s body snatchers, then living with aliens is a dream.

Sidenote: I love this shirt of Randall’s. It’s panda bears in a robot suit harvesting rainbow colored wheat.

This afternoon, Julie stopped by my desk to share her life fulfillment. Today her life completion included wee chinese egg tarts from some place she found in Chinatown. She had a story about how Steph forgot hers but I didn’t understand. I think it meant that Steph’s loss was my win. I’m not sure, but it was definitely an egg tart win.

Sidenote: I'm not sure why julie's life is always unfulfilled, but i'm glad it can be filled with snacks that she shares with me.

We’re working on a big project at work, and so it’s been a tiger team mode, all hands on deck sort of a thing. Because of that, we got lunch in today. Lizzy was kind enough to pick up some chicken schwarmas and lots of extra hot sauce. Lots. Because basically it’s nothing special without it.

Sidenote: The desk in the pictures is my new temporary location. I’ve relocated until the project launches. If you count this spot (which I will because it’s funnier) I’ve had 10 desks in this office alone.
