We tried to get a second drinking at rickhouse, but it was just to be
to get served. We didn't feel like waiting around, so dk and I decided
to go somewhere else. We walked around the block and then ended up at
gitane. Who knew that there was a fancy drink place hiding in that
funny murphy's alley?
I had a tough guy rye drink disguised as a girly drink with some sort
of berry foam. We also ordered a couple of apps (mostly so we could
sit outside) -- goat cheese filled plums wrapped in bacon and crab
stuffed peppers. I also ordered a smokey whiskey drink, but it was far
too smokey to drink. The waitress kept it off our tab even though she
tried to warn me.
I'd definitely go back here for fancy snacks and mixologist made drinks.

Molly and I found out that rickhouse was opening up today. So we grabbed dk and we headed on over. It is barely 5:15 and it's already packed.
On our way here molly and I made sure we didn't look across the street. Surely the folks at murphy's aren't going to like us cheating on them.
I don't know what I'm going to get. I told molly to order me something delicious. I wanted to look at the menu, but it's 35 pages long, at least it looks that way. I haven't actually seen one as folks are totally bogarting them.

I told Randall that I was going to go to the apple store for lunch. He
said if that was the case he'd join me.
After a mostly fruitless apple adventure, we ended up at tropiseuno
where he is having tacos, and I am going to try out a pretty delicous
looking torta.

Time for the weekly breakfast sandwich. This time it's the scary
bacon, it's not as "real" as the ham, but it just makes it. I mean how
can you pair something real with this cheese?
