For lunch we went to julie's, it's not amazing, but it's good for what
it is (a pay by the pound salad/buffet bar). It sucks though, I always
get the heavy stuff and pay far too much.

We were doing a video segment for shopstyle today, and so we had a
bunch of volunteer kids around. To keep them satiated, there was a box
of specialties pastries. Nearly the entire office wanted to eat them
and Katherine had to slap some hands to keep them out of it.
But now that the kids are gone. Feast time for us.

At gitane with samshrew
Met samshrew after work and we decided to have a quick drink at
gitane. Since it was packed, we decided to cheat the system and sat
outside. You have to order food if you sit outside, but that's never
stopped an eledge.

Also delicious, but not as delicious as last time, okonomiyaki from
Namu, and very solid korean tacos.
Oh and a really great nectarine, vanilla, and Ginger spritzer from
4505 meats. It was nice and syrupy and great.
I want to go here every week.
Sidenote: the guy who is bleeding on the ground is not really
bleeding. That is tv magic!

Breakfast from the farmers market downstairs. A white nectarine, a
plout, and a cinnamon twist. I'm only eating half because Katherine
and I have an early lunch date at the other farmers market.
Sidenote: the nectarines in the pic are not the heavenly ones I just
ate. Those are at the other end and are freaking heavenly. Make sure
you get a white one that is a bit squishy.

Our pizza is having an identity crisis
Twin peaks pizza has this great pizza called the Latina special. It's
a regular pie with sausage, pizza, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro. We
ordered it once at random and it's now become our go to pizza night
pizza. It's generally one of the most delicious stand by things, but
apparently it's under new management and now the crust seems a little
chewy. I'm hoping it's just an off night.

Happy birthday July babies.
Lizzy is having nachos to say hey, way to go on getting older. I am
having a burrito, or nachos on a tortilla. I'm not too sure, I
couldn't get the thing to close.
