Round and round we go
Dinner tonight was sushi boats in the japantown mall with dk. For the record I had no idea that herring flesh was bright yellow. It's supposed to be that way, right?

Beer o'clock with the salesforce
The sales force is all in town for super special sales meetings. To celebrate the gathering, we went to the usual place for beer o'clock. Bsugz asked if this was a sanctioned and approved beer o'clock. Last I checked, I wasn't the queen of beers. Is this just my reputation?
Aspen envy
This afternoon susannah and I headed over to the burger bistro for some lunch. She's headed to aspen for the food and wine classic and wanted some pointers. I must say, I miss that aspect of being yumsugar, but not necessarily all the stress of being the first to post stories. And continuously come up with new things to write about. that part i'm okay about leaving behind. it's just the eating and the mingling that i miss.
Sidenote: if you're wondering, I had a turkey burger with a jalapeno cranberry sauce and we shared some frings on the side.

The Baking continues
Last night my computer screen would not turn on. I think the video card died. Either way it sucks and I'm now on a loaner machine that moves slower than the snail that's eating my garden.
Without a computer at home, and with randall hogging the tv, I went back to my roots and baked up some treats. I can't believe I used to do this every frigging week.
Sidenote: the neverending tub of costco dates finally ended (these are cinnamon date coffee cakes, and chocolate date coffee cakes).
