sabs eats foods

For lunch I went to the weird caffe bianco/fountain combo area for a
beet/apple/carrot/Ginger juice and an egg salad sandwich. The guy at
the counter remarked about how my drink matched my outfit (I'm in a
skirt the same color). I told him I planned it that way so that when I
spill on myself, it'll be okay.

Last night Randall and I went to see gentlemen broncos. Lots of kids
we knew were there, including Karen and shin. We were going to go to
dinner with those two afterwards, but a lack of nearby options and
school night timing made us part our ways. So instead I went home,
made some rice and ate a bunch of random Asian things. This is one of
those perfect quick meals in my mind, but clearly I need a cuter
serving dish so that everything is compartmentalized. Clockwise from
the top we have seasoned seaweed sheets, pickled cabbage, Chinese
pickles, marinated hot peppers, tomato sardines, fried gluten with
peanuts, and jade rice topped with hairy pork. Sounds crazy but it
makes me think of home. The only thing it's missing is a fried egg on
top.

sidenote: for lunch it was a chattum sandwich from the scaffolding
deli. It was pouring down rain and so I opted for something nearby.
