This afternoon I gussied up a frozen meal with a few farmers market
ingredients. The meal was an angus beef chili soup like concoction (it
was actually really tasty for a frozen meal and was on sale at the
store -- that's why I bought it) on top of a bed of mixed greens and
sliced tomatoes. I also used a pretzel knot from the German baker guy
to sop up all of the deliciousness. All in all I say a great meal for
a quick lunch. Plus I got to feel like Sandra lee. Shit if this is all
it takes, where's my tv show?

I got up about a half hour earlier than normal in hopes of getting to
the office earlier. Somehow I stepped into a time warp because that
did not happen. In fact I was ready at about the same time. I was
about to leave when Randall asked if I wanted a bagel. I said yes and
so now, instead of getting to work earlier, I am going to be there
later than normal. So much for trying.

Actually it's not really fit for a top model, as there are probably
too man carbs and cheese in it. However it was totally fit for a top
model viewing party. Anneh, despite being busted and on crutches,
fixed us up some butternut squash risotto, and roasted zucchini and
tomatoes. It was warm and comforting and tasty (although we both could
not figure out what gave the risotto a slight smoky flavor). Also, the
picture doesn't really do the meal justice.
