Several years ago a few friends and I went to Iceland where we fell in
love with skyr. Skyr is a type of fat free healthy thick yogurt that
is freaking delicious (sort of like Greek yogurt but better). Sadly it
was only available in Iceland and we could not eat it here in
California. Eventually whole foods starting carrying it, but only the
ones in new York due to shipping reasons. Meanwhile a company in the
us was working on making their own version. Once they did it too was
only available in new York. But tonight, while shopping at the new
whole foods in Noe valley, I found it! Siggi's skyr is available here
and it tastes so much like the skyr I had in Iceland. Plus the
grapefruit version is so wonderfully tangy. I heart skyr.

At lunch Melissa and I ran a few errands (helllloooo walgreens) and
then headed to the Cuban sandwich place. She had a great looking
seared ahi tuna salad, and I had the chicken sandwich. Mine was good,
but she won. She also paid 5 bucks more, so it's probably a good thing
she did.

When the weather is kind of nice out, I like to treat myself to an
iced tea. I usually just end up getting it at tullys or peets because
they are both on the way to the office. However tullys has been really
bitter the last, oh year or so, and peets always tricks me in to
ordering something fruity. So today I decided to head over to
starbucks for a consistent unsweetened black iced tea. It hit the
spot, but the line was a millionty people long and that is why I never
go there. Also they tricked me into buying a cheese and fruit plate.
Although I must admit, it sort of hit the spot.
