These evening me, Randall, chris, samshrew and their friend Christine
went to see the live version of the nightman cometh. If you know what
I'm talking about, then you should be jealous, it was totally awesome.
If you have no idea, then it's your loss. Before the show we hiked
down the steep hill and ate some cybelles pizza. Nom nom!

To celebrate her birthday we presented her with a box of black and
white cookies, peach cobblers, berry crisps, and pastries. Her family
(whom we should have coordinated with) sent mini cupcakes, and a
cookie cake. Needless to say, there are a lot of sweets. If you want
one I'm sure it can be arranged. You just have to come wish the bday
girl a good one. Sidenote: we also bougt her a copy of heathers and a
shamwow. You know just so she could cross it off the list. The
cobblers were also for that reason. She said she'd never had one before!

We're celebrating September birthdays with tacos! Once again I piled
too much food on my plate. It's hard to stop when it seems like the
source is bottomless.

Today is Melissa's birthday and Maria kicked off the celebration with
pastries from woodside bakery. These babies are delicious. Come help
us eat them.

This week the PNW descended upon sf like a plague of locusts. Okay
maybe three visitors is not a plague, but the PNW was definitely in
full force last night.
first I met up with anneh for some chit chat time. Then we met
Randall, Amy, her boy Jim, Scottel, and meg down at monk's kettle. I
had a decent beer, but was sad that they were out of the jasmine Ipa I
had been craving.
afterwards, we headed over to pancho villa for tacos. Their prices
have gone up since the last time I was there, but the spicy chicken
was super delicious, so I let it slide. Plus they also have alfajors,
so it was worth the visit.
once dinner had been devoured we bid adieu to Scottel and Meg
(anneh had already left us for a work date with top model) and then
headed to the elbo room. Amy's pal nako was djing and there were
drinks to be had. So we had them and then Randall and I walked home.
We ran into Pete on the way and had a fun conversation about goth
school. By the time we got to our neighborhood I decided we should
stop for a cookie at hot cookie. I hate that place but it's a
latenight cookie shop on the way home, so it serves its purpose.
Apparently I had forgotten that I'd already had an alfajors.
