sabs eats foods

For lunch, dk, maria and I found ourselves at sentinel. Maria had mentioned it, and as soon as the words passed from her lips I was sold.

She and I both couldn’t decide on the bbq beef or the pigfig (pork –fig spread). We ended up going halfsies on each and I’m so glad we did. Not only did we get double the flavor, but had we not, I would’ve gone for the pork (you know life motto:  when in doubt order the pork). And let me tell you, the pork was not nearly as delicious as the beef. The beef was an amazingly moist, perfectly succulent, and wonderfully sauced creation. I was almost sad when it ended.

This morning I had a cheesey bagel (which was more bread like item
than bagel) paired with vine ripened tomatoes. The tomato plant looks
scary Halloween (all the leaves are barely there and it's more or less
rotted), but the bulbous tomatoes are a nice shade of red (except that
yellowy one in the back, but that's only being eaten because I knocked
it off the branch on accident).

after devouring that, I went to work where ms yumsugar had provided
a bit of honey cake. It was delicious and unnecessary. But you know,
delicious.
