The treats never end

Ms partysugar brought in some leftover cupcakes (I know, that phrase
seems contradictory). They were carrot cupcakes (perfect ones I might
add, no nuts!) and were deliciously moist. I only took a small bite,
but really wanted to eat the whole thing.

This is tasty but it is not a Chinese feast

I had a doctor’s appointment this afternoon, which meant two things. 1) I was not able to go on the development RnG lounge Chinese food feast excursion and 2) I was going to be out of the comfort radius for lunch. While point (1) was unfortunate, point (2) was good. I figured I’d get to at least try something new. Sadly, after leaving the doctor’s office, I wandered aimlessly and just headed back towards work. The next thing I knew, I was back in the radius and picking up lunch at boulange. Luckily I was craving chips and they do sandwiches with chips as sides. So open faced lox, cream fraiche, and caper sandwich it was. Tasty, but it was no RnG.

Allison brought us alfajores

She just flew back from buenos aires and brought a ox of treats back
with her. These delicate cookies are sandwiches of dulce de leche (s
ort of like caramel) and smothered with either meringue or chocolate.
I thought I'd like the chocolate better, but the meringue gave a nice
texture enhancement. Either way, both were delicous and lovely. Thanks
Allison!

More in vino

This is probably my favorite brand of sorbet. I especially love
this blackberry cabernet flavor. It's sweet but not cloyingly so and
the texture is just wonderfully smooth. Whenever I have any, I have to
make sure I put it into a bowl. If not, I would eat the whole
container.

I didn't eat this for breakfast, I just forgot to hit send last
night. For breakfast I had a highly nutritious pop tart.
