This afternoon we helped celebrate avery's first birthday by eating
BBQ tritip and sheet cake. Avery is a neice on randall's side of the
family and her pop matt makes a really mean tritip. Actually, he made
two.
While there I hung out with a bunch of rugrats and we had a pretend
tea party. One of them served me a glass of chicken coffee. Wrap your
head around that. It was apparently a cross between chicken soup and
coffee. I told the rugrat it tasted disgusting.
sidenote: I did eat a couple of bites of cake. Melissa is at a
wedding today and we planned on giving each other a cake pass for the
day. You know, just so you don't think I was cheating on this no
sweets thing.
